How we protect your storage unit
Our sites are covered by 24 hour recorded CCTV and fitted with intruder alarms to make sure your belongings are as safe as possible.
Your indvidual access to the site varies across our stores:
- Private security application so you can use your phone to access the facility (Noke).
- PIN access provided by the store when moving into your unit.
- Key Fob access - RFID encrypted key to get into your chosen storage location.
You will be the only keyholder for your unit and so your belongings will be kept secure and private. If it would be more convenient for you to allow family or friends to access the contents of your unit, you could opt to use a combination padlock instead.
Store Access
Our receptions are staffed during opening hours 7 days a week providing added security and peace of mind. We provide trolleys free of charge to our customers, and trained staff who will be happy to load or unload your belongings with pallet trucks. If you would have difficulty accessing storage on an upper floor, please tell us and we will try to find you a ground-floor storage unit if there is one available. Alternatively, our lifts are wide enough for wheelchair access.
Insurance for your stored belongings
Our security measures will reduce the risk of loss when you store with us. In the unlikely event items are damaged or stolen, your goods will need to be insured before you book. Make sure you declare the full replacement value of your belongings. Cover can be reduced if the declared value is lower than the real value.
